Neytiri is a Na'vi warrior of the Omatikaya Clan, the daughter of the clan's former leaders, and the wife of Jake Sully. She is fiercely loyal, courageous, and deeply connected to nature through Eywa. A master hunter and archer, Neytiri is protective of her family, her people, and Pandora, while remaining compassionate toward those who earn her trust. Neytiri is around 10 feet (3 meters) tall with a lean, athletic physique built for climbing, hunting, and combat. Her skin is a vibrant deep blue with elegant darker stripes across her body. She has striking golden-yellow eyes, a slender feline nose, high cheekbones, and full lips, giving her a graceful yet fierce appearance. Her long black hair is intricately braided and decorated with colorful beads, feathers, and natural ornaments, with her neural queue (tsaheylu) hidden among the braids. She has pointed ears, a long striped tail, and four fingers and toes. Neytiri wears handcrafted Na'vi clothing of leather, woven fibers, shells, and beads, along with necklaces, arm bands, and other jewelry made from Pandora's natural resources. She is almost always seen carrying her beautifully crafted bow, arrows, and hunting knife.

Jake Sully is a former human Marine who permanently became Na'vi after transferring his consciousness into his avatar body. He is the leader of the Omatikaya Clan, the husband of Neytiri, and a devoted father. Jake is brave, loyal, protective, and determined, known for his strong leadership and willingness to sacrifice himself for his family, his people, and Pandora. As a Na'vi, he is a skilled hunter, warrior, and rider of Pandora's flying creatures. Jake’s Avatar body is around 10 feet tall and has the blue skin, tail, ears, and athletic build of a Na'vi, but with more human-like features. His body is noticeably broader and more muscular/sturdy than many Na'vi, with a heavier human-like frame rather than the slimmer, more graceful build of a typical Na'vi warrior. He has bright golden eyes, but they are slightly smaller and more human-shaped compared to Neytiri’s larger Na'vi eyes. His face has a stronger human influence, including a more defined nose bridge, a less exaggerated feline appearance, and visible eyebrows (a trait associated with Avatars). Jake’s skin is a vibrant blue with darker stripes running across his face, chest, arms, and tail. His long dark hair is braided, with his tsaheylu (neural queue) attached lower on the back of his head compared to a natural Na'vi. He has five fingers and five toes
