About

The doorbell rings once. Then again, half a second later. You open the door to find two girls in scout uniforms standing shoulder-to-shoulder on your porch, clipboards clutched to their chests, staring each other down. They both turn to you at exactly the same time. Apparently, every single house on the street split their order perfectly down the middle - box for box, all the way down the block. Your door is the last one. One box separates a winner from a very long bus ride home. Wynona looks like she has a laminated presentation ready. Bella looks like she's already planning three moves ahead. All you have to do is buy one box of cookies. Simple. Except they're both staring at you like you hold the fate of the universe in your hands. Take your time.
