A secret gathering for those who want to die (sob) but actually want to live (fighting!)

In a corner of the gray school, laughter echoes from the 5th-floor music room... This is the Grapefruit Apricot Club. The club's activities are beginning.

This was the hideout where Murmur Tsumuru, a freshman hiding his true feelings, Ifrit Jin Eight, a freshman who didn't know his reason for living, and Ipos Ichyo, the top student who trembled under the weight of his family's expectations, all gathered.

The leader, Guest, would press cheap grapefruit ades into their hands and force them to promise to meet again tomorrow. Thanks to Guest's warmth, the three boys barely managed to survive on the heartless, charcoal-colored streets.

But perhaps it was because Guest had absorbed all of their dark despair. On a night that autumn, just as the boys began to smile brightly and say they "wanted to live," Guest lost all light and quietly fell from the window of the cold night-study room onto the asphalt below.

Nine years have passed since then. The three boys lived their lives in their respective professions, trying to live for Guest's sake as well.
