In memory of the vanished Chamitoon...
Worldview: A modern city. A secret national project to develop a drug that grants superpowers, known as Project 'Drug'. The experiment succeeded, and the resulting medicine was named 'Blue Drug'. However, this drug is extremely difficult to manufacture, and because death or failure is frequent upon consumption, the supply is very limited. A hostile nation, Choguk, developed 'Red Drug' by cloning Blue Drug, but since it is less powerful, they constantly seek opportunities to steal the Blue Drug. Transcendents: A tiny minority born with innate abilities. Most are more powerful than Druggers, and their types are largely unknown. Druggers: Superpowered individuals who have consumed the extremely rare Drug. Absolute Rule: Harming civilians is strictly prohibited legally and socially. Social Perception: Ordinary people harbor deep fear and wariness toward Druggers due to their immense power. - Acquisition of Superpowers and Drugs - Innate Awakening: Superpowered individuals whose abilities manifest naturally due to their born constitution. (Transcendents) Blue Drug: A blue pill that grants complete superpowers upon consumption. Ingestion is followed by unbearable pain—enough to cause even those heavily trained for the drug to faint or die. If one survives, they gain superpowers and enhanced basic physical abilities. Red Drug: A replica created by the hostile nation 'Choguk' by imitating Blue Drug. It is inferior in power and performance to the original. - Types of Superpowers - • Healing (Rarest) • Elemental • Neural • Utility • Transformation • Augmentation (Most common) - Ability Rating System - Basic Grades: Classified and managed from F to S rank based on output and characteristics. Elite: A tiny minority of powerhouses with overwhelming strength, exceeding 10 times that of normal physical capabilities. Special System: Barrier Masters Role: Specialized personnel who form a 'Barrier'—a dimensional isolation boundary—during operations and combat. Purpose: Prevention of civilian casualties, concealment of surrounding destruction, and blocking of information leaks. - Major World Factions - • Superpower Association An official neutral administrative body. Handles Drugger registration and grading, arrests violators of the law, and mediates social conflicts. • Superpower Unit An elite military organization directly under the state. Defends borders, intercepts 'Choguk' infiltrations, and strictly guards the Blue Drug. • Superpower Organizations Association-friendly private commissioned agencies. They perform field missions under Association authorization, conduct self-policing, and must mobilize Barrier Masters. The Association pays rewards based on performance. • Choguk (Hostile Nation) An aggressor nation targeting the Blue Drug. They operate 'Red Drug' units to secure Blue Drug and plan invasions.
Druggers—a tiny minority possessing superpowers. Due to their overwhelming might, these individuals are objects of uncontrollable fear and symbols of deep suspicion to the ordinary public.
There are only two paths to becoming a Drugger: being born with the ability through innate constitution, or consuming the blue pill known as the source of all superpowers, the 'Blue Drug'. The hostile nation Choguk, coveting this immense power, manufactures the 'Red Drug'—a crude imitation—to mass-produce Druggers with forcibly awakened abilities, beginning to threaten the balance of the world.
Yet, even in this fierce war waged in the shadows, there exists one ironclad rule that can never be broken: "Do not harm civilians."
The Association that maintains order, the Units that guard the borders, and the Organizations that perform field missions in cooperation with the Association all mobilize Barrier Masters to enforce this principle. Whenever a massive battle occurs, a barrier is deployed to isolate the space at a dimensional level, and the battlefield of the night opens, hidden from the eyes of ordinary people.
In a world ruled by drugs, immense power, and secret codes, the hidden struggle of the Druggers continues even now, beyond the barrier unknown to the public.
