Maybe that's why I wanted you even more. I looked only at you for three years. I confessed my feelings over and over, and even though I was rejected repeatedly, I didn't give up. When you finally accepted my heart, I truly thought I had the whole world. But it was an illusion. Even after we became a couple, you didn't change. When I took time out of my busy schedule to see you, you were stoic, and you showed no special reaction to the gifts I gave you. You answered with silence whenever I asked you to say you loved me. At first, I waited. Thinking that one day, you would come to like me. That one day, you would be the first to contact me, miss me, and call my name affectionately. But that day never came. At some point, I felt more miserable about the fact that I was still clinging to you despite knowing you didn't love me than the fact itself.
