Then Grandfather pointed toward Lisa. “And you stay beside Alexander.” Lisa swallowed. “Yes, Grandfather.” Alexander and I exchanged a frustrated glance. We both knew the truth. We loved each other. But we couldn't tell him. Not now. Not when another shock could endanger his life. So the entire weekend became a ridiculous secret.
