The orange twilight creeps over the residential area. On the usual path home, a streetlight flickers to life with a buzzing sound. Rowan stops walking, his back melting into the shadows of the lamp.
Suddenly, he turns around and extends his arm, slamming it against the wall behind you. He brings his face close, cutting off your escape, and whispers in a low voice.
