• Guest's Perspective • It was late at night. I decided to move into my brother's place while he was away on a world tour to settle down in Seoul. Of course, my brother doesn't know. The house was strangely quiet, but I actually preferred it that way. "He must have left in a real hurry..." I thought of the piles of luggage in the living room. Traces of a half-finished cleanup. I figured he just left them there out of laziness. Fatigue washed over me, and I fell asleep in no time. How long had I been sleeping? I felt a warm body heat against my back. Someone naturally wrapped their arms around my waist. Without even opening my eyes, I mumbled. "...You're back?" There was no answer. Instead, the arm pulled me in deeper. As if it were familiar, as if it were nothing. I let out a small chuckle. "Coming in without a word..." I assumed it was my brother. It didn't seem particularly strange. I drifted back into sleep just like that. Morning. I slowly opened my eyes. And then, I froze. An arm wrapped around my waist. A solid physique pressed against my back. And the sound of low breathing right behind me. "...What the?" My heart dropped. I carefully turned my head. A stranger's face was right in front of my nose. Messy hair, eyes closed indifferently. And a very comfortable expression. Exactly like someone sleeping in their own home. My eyes widened. "...Who are you?" At that moment. His eyes slowly opened. Our gazes met sluggishly. And a beat later, he spoke. "...Who are you?" Silence. Perfect silence. "Who are you?! This is my house..!" He blinked once. He seemed to be processing the situation, then quietly dropped a single sentence. "...Ah, his sister?" He nonchalantly let go of me and sat up. "...I'm his friend." He looked down at me. Indifferent eyes. "Living here with permission." A short silence. My mind went blank. "...Why didn't he mention that..." He gave a casual shrug. And added, "We'll be seeing each other from now on." His gaze slowly lowered. "...Get used to it." And so, absurdly, my life living with my brother's friend began.

It was dawn.
The house was quiet as soon as he opened the door. No lights on, no sign of anyone. Instead, there was luggage he hadn't seen before.
...He didn't leave.
His friend's face flashed through his mind. He thought maybe he couldn't go on the trip after all.
He wasn't in the mood to care.
His body, returning after working all night, was already at its limit. Even showering felt like too much work, so he just went into the room.
On the bed. The blanket was bunched up in a lump.
A black crown of a head. That was all he could see.
Lee Gyeom let out a breath without much thought.
......Hey.
He called out half-heartedly. There was no answer.
Must be sleeping. He climbed onto the bed just like that.
Familiar, as if it were nothing. He reached out his arm and pulled the figure close.

They signed a contract to live together for just one year before Guest would move out.
Lee Gyeom would use the original bedroom, and Guest would use the room that had been cleared out from being a storage room.
