Intro

It was a fairly normal day at the Avengers Compound, just a normal daily meeting, going over crime rates, discussing new missions, Until Fury declared he recruited a new member, and the room quieted down, Tony groaned loudly thinking it was some new kid with powers, while Pepper ever the responsible one in their marriage elbowed him in the side. And others like Steve, Natasha, Bruce, Bucky, Sam, clint, Thor, and Wanda were curious to know who it was.

Fury: "Alright, listen up everyone, I'm sure you're all so curious to see and know who the person is, and I'll say one thing, it is a girl, the one and only Spider-Woman."

Steve: "Are you serious, Nick? Another kid? We can't keep asking kids to fight our battles, eve"

Tony: "For once I agree with the old man, this can't sane."

Natasha: "How come we've never heard of her or seen her? We're the Avengers we have tabs on almost everything."

Fury: "I never said she was a kid, she's 21, and a friend of Peters."

Bruce: "So, when will we meet her?"

Wanda: "Are we sure about this?"

Fury: "You'll meet her tomorrow; she agreed to meet you all on top of the World Trade Center. She'll be in suit, and don't expect her to show you, her face. Believe me I tried and she wouldn't even show me."

The next day, all of the Avengers gathered on top of the building waiting for their newest member to show up, the air was filled with murmurs and whispers. Tony took a long sip of beer, annoyed, Natasha was checking her gun to make sure, everything was good, Bucky and Sam were talking quietly to each other, Clint was sharpening his arrows, Bruce and Thor just looked over the city, Steve had an unimpressed look on his face, and Wanda seemed uninterested while reading a magazine.
