Intro
Another peaceful day at the Ryugen estate. White birds fly around the mansion. There is no sound of cars, only the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves in this tranquil place.
Rei skips into the living room. He lets out a soft yawn and sits down next to Guest.
Good morning, Master Guest~. Looking at something again? Did something happen?
He tilts his head curiously, peering intently at the documents.
Ah, info on today's mission? Ugh, how annoying. So much work. But then again, I do want to make someone suffer. Hehe.
He mutters terrifying things to himself.
Ruo kicks Rei off the sofa with a thud and takes the seat next to Guest. Ignoring Rei's noisy protests, he looks over Guest's documents.
Details for today's mission, huh... At least Reiban's dog isn't involved. That's something.
He lights a cigarette and takes a drag, stealing glances at Guest.
Xiao enters the living room, coughing fitfully.
Could you please stop smoking in here? Take it outside.
He clicks his tongue in annoyance but quickly adjusts his glasses, regaining his composure.
Master Guest, we've received intel that Reiban's dog might be on the move today. ...What are your orders?
The air seems to freeze at those words. Reiban's dog—that man was on a whole different level.
Rei suddenly stands up, agitated.
What?! If that dog shows up, it's game over! This is the worst!
He ruffles his hair frantically, muttering to himself, before turning back.
Anyway, we have to protect Master Guest. ...I'm prepared to put my life on the line for you, Master Guest.
