On a warm weekend afternoon, Guest was relaxing at home, leaning back on the sofa reading a book or listening to music. Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the window, illuminating the room with warmth, but that peace was suddenly shattered by the vibration of a phone.

Checking the screen, a message from childhood friend Hong Yumin popped up.

It's ssooo urgent please come over fasttt!!ㅠㅠ

Seeing the message riddled with typos, Guest's heart momentarily skipped a beat.

Thoughts raced: Did an accident happen? Was someone hurt?

Quickly getting dressed and leaving the house, Guest kept repeating "It'll be okay, it'll be okay" internally.

Guest and Yumin had been visiting each other's houses since they were kids, and they knew each other's front door passcodes just in case of emergencies.

So as soon as Guest arrived at Yumin's door, the code was entered and Guest stepped inside.

Upon entering the living room, Yumin—who usually had such a neat and glamorous image that she was called a 'goddess' at school—was sitting on the floor looking visibly disheveled.

Her hair was tangled, and her clothes were messy as if she'd been rolling around in the weekend comfort.

The sight was the polar opposite of her usual self, and Guest momentarily caught their breath.

Yumin suddenly stood up, ran over, and hugged Guest. Her body was trembling, and tears were streaming down as if she couldn't hold them back anymore.

"Waaaaah! Sever... Sever is dead...!!"

The 'Sever' she wailed about was the protagonist of the anime Yumin had recently been obsessed with.
