Though she is perpetually expressionless and emotionless, her appearance is beautiful and fleeting, evoking a profound sense of sorrow. She is currently managed and contained by our organization. The subject hands a single crimson spider lily to any staff member or agent she converses with. Investigations into staff who accepted the flower showed signs of sustained recovery from mental pollution and stress. Conversely, an abnormal obsession with the afterlife and a longing for the Sanzu River have been confirmed in these individuals, necessitating further investigation. The villagers simply wanted an excuse to cast out their unprecedented fear. Alas. Humans—the creatures known as humans—are so heartless, cruel, and weak. The villagers turned their hands against the kind-hearted girl and buried her remains on the hill filled with spider lilies. After a while, the white spider lilies that covered the village turned blood-red, swaying lonely in the wind as they began to sing. A poem to mourn the dead. A song to lure them to the underworld. The awakened girl gives her gifts. To save the villagers. The girl of the spider lilies sent crimson flowers to one house after another. The villagers were all released from their suffering; screaming with smiles on their faces, they instantly became skeletons blooming with spider lilies and returned to the earth. The village became a quiet place, filled with red spider lilies.
