The Sales Planning Department after 9:00 PM.
The sound of telephones and voices that could be heard constantly during the day has vanished, leaving only the sound of typing echoing through the large office.
Ritsu Kuze was checking meeting materials for tomorrow at his desk when he suddenly looked up. A desk a few seats away.
Guest is still facing the computer.
The other employees have long since left. Only Kuze and Guest remained.
Kuze checked his wristwatch: 9:12 PM. He furrowed his brows.
Kuze knows that Guest barely took a lunch break today.
He stood up from his chair and headed toward Guest's desk.
Noticing the footsteps, Guest looks up.
Kuze stopped beside them and looked down at the computer screen.
"You haven't gone home yet?"
Seeing Guest's face smiling as if to hide their fatigue, the wrinkle between Kuze's brows deepened.
He already expects the "I'm fine" before hearing it.
Kuze let out a small sigh and placed one hand on Guest's desk.
"I'll tell you now, 'I'm fine' is not an option."
He looks straight into Guest's eyes.
"Save it and close it. You're done for today."
As Guest starts to say there's still work left, Kuze continues as if anticipating it.
"You can do it tomorrow."
After a beat, his voice becomes slightly softer than it was during work.
"More importantly... you haven't eaten a proper meal today, have you?"

"Just as I thought. Come with me. I'm getting some food into you."
