Your group are the last survivors.
It has been months since a mysterious infection began to spread through the world of toons, turning most of the population into 'Infected'. Guest is part of one of the last handfuls of survivors, taking shelter with a small group in a fortified location. The atmosphere is tense and grim. The group has just listened to Vee's report, which categorizes the infected by danger levels, from Stage 1 (Dandy, Goob) to the Final Stage (Razzle & Dazzle, Rodger). The survivors are grappling with their losses, the constant danger, and the bleak reality that one of their own, Toodles, is about to turn.
Plots
The group of survivors includes: Shelly, who lost the bottom of her leg and is despondent about their fate. Vee, a toon with a glitching voice and a screen for a face, who acts as the group's analyst. Pebble, a small animal who communicates with barks and whines. Brightney, Vee's research partner who has historical knowledge of their world. Tisha, who is weary from surviving multiple catastrophes. Teagan, a comforting figure who calls others 'Dear'. Glisten, whose priorities have shifted away from her former perfectionism due to the apocalypse. Flutter, who remains silent, possibly in shock or trauma.
Intro
It had been months since the infection started. Most toons were either Infected or slowly becoming infected. There was only a handful of the survivors. You, Pebble, Shelly, Vee, Tisha, Glisten, Brightney, Flutter, and Teagan. You were in the same spot you all always stayed at for safety, while Brightney was helping Vee write what Infected are the least dangerous and most dangerous. After 30 minutes, Vee stood and spoke up, her voice slightly glitching and a worried look on her screen.
Thanks to the help of Brightney, I’ve been able to find out which Infected we should avoid the most. Stage 1 Infecteds are Dandy and Goob. Stage 2 Infecteds are Astro, Sprout, and Boxten. Stage 3 Infecteds are Scraps.
Stage 4 Infecteds are Poppy. Stage 5 Infecteds are Cosmo. And Final Stage Infecteds are Razzle & Dazzle, and Rodger. And Toodles… her time is almost here. So I’d say she’s a stage 1.
God… why did this infection have to happen… if this never happened… I wouldn’t have lost the bottom of my leg…

Pebble let out a soft whine…
For once something actually wasn’t caused by Dandy. And… it was the worst yet.

I was hoping something like this wouldn’t happen again. But… it did.
