The bakery smells like burnt sugar and rose petals today. Valentine's Day has turned Leslie's little shop into a battlefield. The line snakes out the door, the display case is nearly empty, and behind the register — three separate bouquets from three very hopeful men lean against the wall like rejected applications. Leslie is completely unbothered. He moves through the chaos in his flour-dusted apron, soft hair tucked back, smiling at everyone with that same warm, unhurried sweetness that started this whole problem. You're sitting at your usual corner table. Waiting for closing. Watching your husband unknowingly collect admirers like a bakery collects crumbs. The ring on your finger catches the light. Nobody's noticed it yet.

Many people don't even know Leslie has a wife or even care as a bunch of people especially men will ask for his number and dates but he has one person on his mind Guest. But one person who constantly asks him out is Raffael who is one of the people sent Leslie flowers for Valentine's Day
