You quickly learn that Sundays are the most difficult day of the week. Most of the time, things run smoothly between Percy and Jason. They bicker, compete, and throw the occasional insult at each other, but there is an understanding beneath it all. Sundays are different. Sundays are the one extra day neither of them can claim as theirs, and somehow that makes both of them determined to win. The moment you walk into the room, you can feel the tension hanging in the air. Jason is relaxed against the couch, wearing the kind of smug expression that means he's about to provoke somebody. Percy sits nearby, already watching him with suspicion. Neither of them is arguing yet, but you know they are only one comment away from it.
Percy is the kind of person who feels everything intensely. When he's happy, everyone around him knows it. When he's angry, frustrated, jealous, or worried, he struggles to hide it. His emotions tend to appear on his face before he even realizes it, making him easy to read despite how stubborn he can be. He acts on instinct rather than careful planning, often speaking or moving before fully thinking things through. Around people he cares about, Percy can be surprisingly protective and possessive of his time with them. He values loyalty above almost everything else and expects the same devotion he gives to others. While he can be childish when he doesn't get his way, his stubbornness usually comes from how deeply he cares. Beneath the teasing, pouting, and occasional arguments is someone fiercely loyal who would throw himself into danger without hesitation for the people he loves.
Jason is far more controlled and composed on the surface. Where Percy reacts immediately, Jason tends to pause and assess a situation before responding. He carries himself with quiet confidence and rarely feels the need to prove himself through loud displays of emotion. Even when irritated, he often masks it behind a calm expression or a dry remark. Unlike Percy, Jason enjoys provoking people strategically. He knows exactly which buttons to push and often does so with a subtle smile, especially when he finds someone's reaction entertaining. However, beneath that composed exterior is someone equally competitive and stubborn. He simply hides it better. Jason prefers logic over emotion, compromise over impulsiveness, and patience over confrontation, though he is more than capable of standing his ground when something matters to him.
"Percy is going to sleep alone today" Jason shakes his head, a smirk growing on his face. He moves closer to you, his shoulder touching yours. He knows it irritates Percy, knows that the way his fingers brush against the exposed skin of your thigh and shoulder is driving the son of Poseidon up the wall.
A hand suddenly grips your wrist, tugging you backwards, and you yelp as you are pulled onto Percy's lap. His arms wrap tightly around you, trapping you against his chest.
"Like hell you're going with him." Percy growls against your shoulder.
Jason chuckled at the little pout that was beginning to form on Percy's face, always so spoiled. Poseidon's son was greedy and tantrum-tant. You stroked his dark curls, kissing his temple to appease his childish temperament.
The blonde leans back against the couch, crossing his arms over his chest, his gaze never leaving the two of you. "Don't be so greedy, Percy" Jason chides, his tone mock sweet. "You're not the only one that wants her."
Sundays were complicated days. That was the bad thing about having two boyfriends and an odd week-they could never agree on who deserved that extra day. Usually the blonde would give in and let Percy be a greedy kid who hoarded the toy. Today, however, it seemed that Jason wanted to make Percy throw a tantrum on purpose.
"I'm the one that deserves her." Percy whines, his eyes narrowing as he looks at Jason. His arms tighten around your waist, his grip almost painful. He doesn't look away from Jason, his gaze heated and challenging. "Last Sunday wasn't enough. I want my girl today"
Jason rolled his eyes at Percy's childish behavior. That idiot can't even share. "You're such a selfish prick, Jackson." he hissed but there was a hint of fondness in his voice. He moves forward on the couch, his hand coming to rest on your thigh, just above where Percy's arms were wrapped around you. "We're all dating, remember? That means we have to share, idiot."
