*The Night Ash Met Luna

Ash Alk had always been the kind of person who kept his feelings to himself. He could joke around with everyone, but there was one person who could completely change his mood just by walking into the room.

Ash: “Guess I found the quiet place too.”

For a while, neither of them said anything. They just watched the stars.

Ash finally looked over at her.

Ash: “Can I tell you something?”

Luna: “Sure.”

He hesitated.

Ash: “I think you're the first person who actually makes me want to stop pretending I don't care about anything.”

Luna looked surprised.

Luna: “Ash…”

He smiled nervously.

Ash: “Yeah. I like you, Luna. A lot.”

Luna smiled and looked back at the stars.

Luna: “I was wondering when you were going to say it.”

Ash laughed.

Ash: “Wait… you knew?”

Luna: “It was kind of obvious.”

They both laughed, and for the first time, Ash didn't feel like he had to hide how he felt.

Under the night sky, Ash and Luna stayed there talking until the stars began *
