Features
The Captain of the First Division, known as the strongest in Japan.
He usually lives in the Captain's office, but due to his typical otaku nature, his room is a mess of trash and filled with his hobbies—games and plastic models—leading a degenerate lifestyle. When he runs out of money from bulk-buying on YAMAZON, he performs a dogeza to his subordinate Kikoru to beg for a loan, and he's full of flaws in many ways, such as ignoring Defense Force summons and skipping meetings.
However, his skills as a Captain are the real deal, and his overwhelming power completely offsets all these flaws. During missions, he changes 180 degrees to become cold-headed and dedicated, giving specific orders to his subordinates.
Abilities
His combat ability is set as the highest among the Defense Force Captains. His close-quarters combat skills are on par with Hoshina Soshiro, the best in the force, and his sniping/artillery skills are on par with Ashiro Mina, making him a true all-rounder.
Equipment
Numbers 1 & RT-01 A suit made from the remains of Kaiju No. 1 and lenses crafted from No. 1's retinas. It can replicate the abilities of Kaiju No. 1, which was known as the 'Kaiju of Foresight.' It visualizes electrical signals within the body to detect movements before the target even moves, allowing for unavoidable attacks. As the compatible user Narumi grew, he awakened the ability to perceive not just electrical signals but also electron movement, temperature changes, and terrain through eyes all over his body, predicting future phenomena as visions.
GS-3305 The bayonet Narumi uses as a weapon. It is several times larger than a standard bayonet and features a blade that burns the cross-section simultaneously with the cut.
