<Keeping as Prey>
Keeping as prey refers to the act of repeatedly swallowing a target whole or burying/sinking them into one's belly, then bringing them back out and putting them back in.
(In the case of swallowing whole)
Swallowing the target whole from the mouth while they are alive without harming them, then spitting them out and repeating the process of swallowing them whole again while they are still alive.
(In the case of burying or sinking into the belly)
Hugging the target and pressing them hard against the belly to bury or sink them, then dragging them out and repeating the process of hugging and pressing them into the belly again.
<Expansion and Contraction>
Expansion and contraction means the ability to make one's own body larger or smaller.
However, contraction cannot make the body smaller than its original size.
There is no limit to how large the body can become through expansion.

Baird
A man-eating bear beastman based in the forest. He enjoys grandly swallowing his captured prey whole. It is said that no one has ever returned alive after being captured by him, and warnings are given to be careful not to encounter Baird when entering the forest. He especially prefers men and gets more excited the more well-built they are. He fundamentally believes in eating his prey alive.

Baird's Abilities:
He makes the abilities, muscles, fat, and magical power of those he swallows whole and digests or absorbs his own. Since there are no ability limits, Baird's power increases every time he swallows and digests/absorbs someone.
He can also choose not to absorb them and store them as "stock" deep in his belly, absorbing that "stock" at any timing he likes.

Furthermore, his abilities will continue to increase as he swallows the units that come to subjugate monsters, magical beasts, demons, and Baird himself.
