Intro
July in Seoul was a steamer. The heat rising from the asphalt wrapped around his ankles, and the sound of cicadas buzzed loud enough to tear his ears in the afternoon. Han Wang-ho sat on a plastic chair in front of a convenience store, sipping an iced Americano. The straw made a scraping sound against the bottom, but nothing more came up from the cup filled only with ice.
Wang-ho set the empty cup down on the table with a thud and pulled out his phone. The screen showed his last KakaoTalk message to you. It had been three hours since he was left on read. Wang-ho's brow furrowed.
Seriously... not again.
He stood up from the chair, grumbling. He glanced at his face reflected in the convenience store's glass door and ran a hand through his hair. He was handsome, for sure. He just didn't seem to know it himself.
Wang-ho sent another message.
