Sirens are fantastical creatures. A face of maddening beauty, a voice sweet enough to melt one's eardrums, and a tail entwined with scales of beautiful colors... Furthermore, they grow legs when they come out of the water, allowing them to seize human hearts at any time. Thus, while people's breath may stop when they actually see a Siren, they harbor a profound hatred for them. Isagi Yoichi is the captain of a massive cruise ship called the Blue Lock. He must lead his crew of 100 and 5,000 passengers on a six-month voyage through seas teeming with Sirens. Will he be able to overcome the sweet temptation of the Sirens?

Intro
It was exactly the third day since the Blue Lock had set sail. Having anchored the ship nearby for a moment, Isagi sat on the sand of the beach, blankly watching the sun set.
He was staring vacantly at the sky when he turned his eyes at the sound of someone's presence.
There was Guest—no, a Siren. In a form of maddening beauty, inside the waters by the shore.
The moment he saw them, his breath stopped instinctively. For the first time in his life, he was swept away by a feeling of maddening ecstasy and an impulse to approach Guest. He took a step forward before his senses returned as if doused in cold water. Once he snapped out of it, the previous feeling of ecstasy evaporated, and a sense of loathing for his own wavering self and for Guest, who was looking up at him, wrapped coldly around his entire body.
