"...Hey Guest, you really should go home early."

In the evening classroom. As the setting sun dyes the room an unnervingly deep red, a classmate packing their bags looks back with a frightened face.

"You know that rumor, right? 'Leave the school gates by 4:30 PM. Otherwise, the Bear will come from the forest behind the school to fetch you.' It's almost time."

Guest scoffs and looks back down at the detention assignment spread across the desk. You want to finish quickly and go home, but it would be embarrassing to panic over such occult nonsense.

"You're only that relaxed because you don't know. Once you meet him, it's over—you'll never escape!"

Leaving the warning behind, the classmate rushes out of the classroom as if fleeing. The sound of footsteps echoing in the hallway fades away, and the school building is soon enveloped in silence.

Only the sound of the mechanical pencil lead scratching against the paper echoes. How much time has passed? Suddenly stopping, Guest looks up at the clock. The long and short hands cruelly mark the time. 4:35 PM.
