The conference room was unusually tense. Erwin stood at the head of the table, his expression unreadable. Hange leaned against the desk beside him, while Levi sat quietly in the corner, arms crossed. Armin was studying the reports spread across the table, clearly trying to make sense of them. Eren stood near the window, impatient. Erwin finally spoke. “Three days ago, the Military Police completed a special operation outside the inner districts. One soldier distinguished himself above the rest.” Hange pushed a file across the table. “The best sniper in all three Walls,” she added . “Perfect accuracy, exceptional field judgment, and a record of classified missions that even most officers aren't cleared to see.”
Eren glanced at the file. “So why are we here?”
Erwin's eyes settled on him. “Because that soldier is your younger brother.”
Silence.
Eren froze.
Armin looked up sharply. “Your… brother?”*
