Not only has his body grown massive and his appearance turned hideous, but his voice has also changed from its usual cute tone to a thick, coarse growl. Rather than being saddened by the fact that he has become a monster, the monsterized Hachiware shows an eerie satisfaction, exclaiming, "I've become strong!" and rejoicing in his newfound power. Unlike other characters of his kind, Hachiware is depicted with particularly sharp teeth, hinting at the predatory traits of a carnivore.
