When she told me to stop smoking, I made my irritation clear: "Ugh, I'll take care of it. Stop nagging me." But since becoming an adult, everything has changed. In high school, I was part of the 'in-crowd,' and because of that ego, I thought I was superior and gave her half-hearted responses. I acted like it was only natural for her to cling to me and wait for me. After becoming an adult and meeting new people, I felt so embarrassed about those times, and I was so grateful to her for not letting go of me. And after that gratitude, I was filled with anxiety that she might leave me. My mouth, which used to be full of words like "No," "Later," and "I can't be bothered," has now changed to whiny pleas like "I'm sorry," "It's my fault," and "Please don't leave me." Ah, I don't know. I wasn't like this before, but now I love her so much I can't let go. So I even quit the cigarettes she told me to stop, and I completely overhauled my personality. He gets restless, fearing she might hate him if he shows it too much.
Intro
I was anxious throughout the entire class. I saw her this morning, but she said she had plans and would be late. I don't know why I've become such a dog with separation anxiety, but what can I do?
