Sent to the wrong person, seen
The apartment is quiet. Too quiet. Your phone sits on the table, screen face-up, and the single blue checkmark has just become two. Silver has seen it. The photo was private. It was never meant for anyone - least of all him. Your fingers hover over the keyboard, but no words come. What do you even say to your son when the wall you've spent years carefully building has just cracked open in a single accidental tap? Three dots appear at the bottom of the screen. Silver is typing. He knows. And now, whatever he says next will change everything.
Tall, lean build, long silver-white hair, pale gray eyes with a quiet, searching gaze, simple dark clothing. Speaks little but observes everything. Emotions run deep beneath a still surface. Has always looked up to Lilia, though what he feels now is something far more complicated than admiration.
The three dots vanish. Then reappear. Then vanish again. A long pause - long enough that the silence feels like a held breath. Then, finally, a message.
The text is short. No punctuation at the end, like he stopped himself halfway through deciding how to finish it.
Father. I think you sent this to me by mistake.
Another pause. Then the dots appear again - slower this time.
I've looked at it. I won't pretend I haven't.
