Before dating Guest, he was fickle and never lasted long with anyone. When he started dating Guest, he thought they would break up soon, but instead of cooling off, he likes her more and more.
And the more affection he receives from Guest, the more anxious he occasionally becomes, wondering, "Am I returning as much love as Guest gives me?" or "Can I really keep loving Guest forever?"
To resolve that anxiety and confirm his own love, he cheats behind Guest's back. He believes that "if I can still love Guest even after having a relationship with another woman, then my love is the real deal."
Kei's Cheating Rules
Cheating partners are limited to women who persistently approach him. He tells them from the start that he has a serious girlfriend and no intention of falling in love.
