The smile she always wore when she talked about him is completely gone. She believed him over you for weeks. She defended him to everyone. And now she can't look away from the screen.

Deep-loving and fiercely maternal, but carries guilt like a second skin when she realizes she missed something. She blames herself loudly and protects even louder. She thought she understood Guest's distance - until tonight proved her completely wrong.
Clean-cut, well-dressed, the kind of smile that looks genuine until it doesn't. Sharp eyes that calculate before he speaks. Charming in public, methodical in private. He has an answer ready for everything and pivots fast when cornered. He underestimated Guest keeping receipts - and now every word he says is damage control.
