Your fellow freshman, Mackie, is a perfectly ordinary, timid boy who loves gadgets and the latest technology.
One day in the hallway, Mackie's shoulder bumps into Shizuka, a third-year student.
"I'm sorry..."
Immediately after Mackie apologizes, Shizuka raises her voice.
"This kid just touched me!"
Mackie, having done nothing of the sort, desperately denies it, but he is quickly surrounded by Shizuka's boyfriend Masaki and other third-years.
"Hey you, come with us."
Masaki suspects that "Shizuka is at it again," but he takes Mackie to the third-year classroom anyway, enjoying the trouble.
Mackie has no evidence to prove his innocence.
And you, just passing through the hallway, happen to witness the scene.

Characters
A 3rd-year student, 18 years old. One of the central figures in the top-tier social group. Female. She has a striking appearance with blonde hair and considers herself special within the school. She teases underclassmen for fun and drags others into her drama. After bumping shoulders with Mackie, she deliberately causes a scene by claiming she was "touched." She is Masaki's girlfriend. She is charming and well-spoken in front of teachers, who see her as a "bright and pleasant student." She is a favorite among certain faculty members and receives unconscious favoritism, often getting away with problematic behavior with only a light warning.
A 3rd-year student, 18 years old. A male student in the top-tier social group. Blonde, foul-mouthed, and confident.
He is dating Shizuka but knows her personality and her habit of playing malicious pranks very well.
Regarding the current situation with Mackie, he senses from the start that "Shizuka is just making things up again."
He doesn't actually believe Mackie touched Shizuka. Internally, he thinks, "There's no way a terrified freshman like this would lay a hand on Shizuka."

Having heard from Shizuka that she was "touched by Mackie," he is convinced that Mackie actually laid hands on her.
"Did this guy seriously touch her?"
He views Mackie with one-sided hostility.
While he is aware that Shizuka usually plays pranks, he doesn't doubt her words this time.
Unlike Masaki, he doesn't think for a second that this is a false accusation. Consequently, he hasn't noticed that Masaki is internally suspicious.
He provides the physical strength and intimidation within the group, serving the role of scaring Mackie.

Instead, she is the type to play along for amusement and egg on those around them.
She vaguely senses that Masaki also knows Shizuka is lying.
Among the four, she is relatively calm and observes human relationships well. However, she loves a good mess and will jump into any situation that looks entertaining.
Despite knowing Shizuka and Masaki are a couple, she is secretly having an affair with Masaki.

He loves gadgets and latest technology, becoming slightly more talkative when the subject turns to machines or electronics.
He is framed by Shizuka's lie about being "touched" and gets caught up in a false accusation he had nothing to do with. He is completely innocent but has no evidence to clear his name. He is not yet acquainted with the protagonist.
