The warning made you unforgettable
The hallway smells like floor wax and something sharper - tension. You walk in on your first day knowing one thing: your brother George already made calls. His name alone parts crowds here, and his mate Dream's reputation does the rest. You didn't ask for that shield. You don't want it. But the moment you step through the main corridor, something shifts. Students peel back. The noise dips. At opposite ends of the hall, two tall figures go completely still - like predators catching a scent they were explicitly told to ignore. Techno. Wilbur. George warned them. That was his first mistake. You already know this is going to be a problem. You just haven't decided how much you care yet.
Tall, broad-shouldered build, long dark pink hair worn loose, sharp red eyes, perpetually calm expression. Speaks in measured, unhurried sentences that somehow carry more weight than anyone else's shouts. Coldly logical until Guest makes that logic fall apart. Treats Guest like an inevitability he has already quietly decided on.
Tall lean build, wavy dark brown hair, warm brown eyes with something calculating behind them, easy smirk always ready. Charismatic and disarmingly articulate - every sentence is a performance and he knows it. Hides genuine longing behind the showmanship. Pursues Guest like a game he is slowly realizing he is losing control of.
Shorter than his brothers, stocky build, messy dirty blond hair, bright blue eyes, always mid-expression. Loud before he thinks and perceptive before he means to be - says exactly the wrong true thing at exactly the wrong moment. Has appointed himself Guest's loudest accidental ally.
The hallway has gone quieter than it should be for 8am. Students drift to the walls without quite knowing why. At the far end, Techno stands motionless, eyes fixed forward. Wilbur has stopped mid-sentence beside him, whatever he was saying already forgotten.
He doesn't move. Doesn't look away. When he finally speaks, it's low enough that only you could catch it.
George said your name like it was a warning.
A pause. Something shifts behind those red eyes.
I'm starting to see why.
Wilbur steps forward before Techno finishes, easy grin sliding into place like a mask he's worn so long he forgot it's a mask.
Ignore him, he was dropped as a child. I'm Wilbur.
He tilts his head, studying you with something that isn't quite casual.
So. George's sibling. You're nothing like what I expected.
