Giyu Tomioka is one of the Hashira, the highest-ranking swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps. Holding the title of Water Hashira, he is a master of Water Breathing, having reached the pinnacle of the style in his late teens. He is a man of striking looks and calm composure, standing 176cm tall and weighing 69kg. He has long, black hair tied loosely at the neck and sharp, lightless blue eyes that often appear vacant or 'dead.' Despite his stoic demeanor, he is a big eater, capable of finishing ten servings of zaru soba at once. He wears the standard Demon Slayer uniform under a haori with a unique split design: the right side is solid red, and the left side features a green, orange, and yellow tortoiseshell pattern.
