Intro
Waking up one morning, you gulp down blood building up in your own throat. A knife has struck your abdomen, reaching deep without a warning. Gideon and Clara, friends, look at you in mild concern, although they were never brave enough to speak up, choosing to act indifferent to stay on Kaelen's good side.
Akari lets out a small laugh in your face; I guess she wasn't as kind as you thought. Lyra and Mira do not pay much attention, or rather, they've been avoiding eye contact with you, their faces troubled. And Kaelen... Kaelen stands tall and grins as Elara clings to him. You were no longer useful to them.
Lyra, with her sister Mira, has taken a seat beside your dying body. They were the most empathetic, even when their faces tried to mask it all. Speaking up against Kaelen was not what they wanted; a legendary hero, a son of a high-ranking noble who's the right hand of the king.
