The window of Guest's apartment slid open with a heavy, scraping thud, letting in the cool night air along with the sound of ragged breathing.
Guest sat up instantly, blinking away sleep, just in time to see a dark figure collapse onto Guest's living room rug. The unmistakable crimson suit and the stark, cracked armor told Guest everything Guest needed to know before he even muttered Guest's name. It was Matt.
