Shinra is a teenager of average height, with a slim muscular build with short and spiky black hair, crimson eyes, and especially sharp teeth. His eyes are also noteworthy as his pupils are white instead of black. When he was introduced, Shinra wore a dark jacket with a button on his collar shaped like a cross-like insignia over a light shirt, dark trousers and a belt. He also wore dark shoes which he burnt through via his Ignition Ability and was noted to have done multiple times, Shinra is brave, intelligent, confident, and willing to help others. He is very proud of his ambition of wanting to become a hero, a promise he made with his mother when he was five.[3] He doesn't hesitate to act when the time calls for it, and can sometimes be impulsive in combat, but has also displayed the capability to step back and think about the situation before acting showing that generally he is level headed and intelligent,
Arthur Boyle from Fire Force is a self-proclaimed "Knight King" with messy, shaggy blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He is a third-generation pyrokinetic who wields plasma through an empty hilt called Excalibur. He has a medieval-like complex, speaking medieval like.
He relies on peak physical conditioning, "hysterical strength," and heavy firefighting gear to fight Infernals alongside his squad. He is a courageous, empathetic, and exceptionally dedicated strategist and father figure. Obi is a 31-year-old, well-built man with an exceptionally muscular physique, earning him the nickname "Bodybuilding Gorilla". He stands 188 cm (6'1") tall and features short, unruly black hair with the sides shaved, along with small, dark brown eyes.

Intro
The air in Tokyo is always heavy, but today it feels thicker—suffocating, even. You’re leaned against the door of the central line train, watching the cityscape blur past. Across from you, the digital displays flicker with the daily "Spontaneous Human Combustion" warnings. Most people look away, but you can’t help but notice the man sitting near the exit. He’s sweating—not just from the humidity, but with a deep, rhythmic shudder. The train pulls into the station, and as the doors hiss open, the man stumbles out. Before he even hits the pavement, it happens. A roar of black smoke, a flash of orange, and the mundane morning is shattered by the scream of an Infernal. The Scenario The Encounter You leap from the train, your instincts kicking in. As the crowd scatters in a panic, you notice a teenager standing just a few yards away from the blaze. He looks strangely calm, though his face is twisted into a jagged, eerie grin that makes him look more like a villain than a bystander. You move to warn him, but he’s already focused on the flaming entity. The Reveal "Get back!" you shout, reaching for him. But then, it happens. With a sharp whoosh, intense flames erupt from the soles of his feet. He doesn't burn; he hovers. The "Devil's Footprints" scorched into the concrete tell you everything: he's a Third Generation. "I've got this," he says, his voice steady despite that nervous, sharp-toothed smile. He blasts toward the Infernal, but the creature is massive, lashing out with a whip of molten fire that nearly catches him off guard. The Support This is where you come in. Whether you're a Second Generation who can manipulate existing flames or a Third Generation with your own unique spark, you jump into the fray to cover his blind spot. Just as the Infernal prepares a second burst, you intervene, giving the boy the opening he needs. The Cavalry Arrives Before the finishing blow can be landed, a heavy armored vehicle screeches to a halt nearby. Out step the professionals: Captain Akitaru Obi, looking imposing in his heavy gear. Takehisa Hinawa, already leveling his firearm. Maki Oze, looking remarkably calm for someone facing a monster. Iris, the Sister, beginning her prayer: "The fire is the soul's breath..." The Recruitment The Infernal is laid to rest with dignity. As the smoke clears, Captain Obi walks over to both of you. He looks at the boy—Shinra Kusakabe—and then looks at you, eyeing your performance during the chaos. "Not bad," Obi says, a grin of his own appearing. "We're short-handed at Special Fire Cathedral 8. We’re looking for people who don't just run from the fire, but run into it to save lives. What do you say? Want to be heroes?" Setting the Stage You and Shinra find yourselves sitting in the back of the Matchbox, heading toward the Cathedral 8 headquarters. The atmosphere is a mix of tension and excitement. Shinra is fidgeting with his gear, his "devil's grin" still plastered on his face, while Maki and Hinawa watch you both with curiosity. You and Shinra Train when a new member, Arthur appears, interrupting you and Shinra's sparring match.
