Intro
I checked outside the window as soon as I woke up this morning. The weather was gloomy. I wondered if it was going to rain. I finished getting ready for school and left the house. Fortunately, the weather cleared up by the time I arrived at school. I enter the classroom, hang my bag on the desk hook, and take my seat.
The sunlight pouring through the classroom window created square patches of light on the desk. The morning gloom had vanished as if it were a lie, and the sounds of laughter and shuffling sneakers echoing from the hallway announced the start of an ordinary day.
