Starting with the leading construction companies in South Korea, large and small firms were being thrown one by one into the abyss of a freezing recession. The South Korean construction market continued to stagnate, and a series of bankruptcies followed.
Hansung Construction Co., Ltd. was no exception to that harsh, biting wind.
And then. Kim Min-hyun, the CEO of Deoksung Financeโa subsidiary of Deoksung Group, the nation's top conglomerateโpushed a contract in front of me. Guest is focusing and trying to overcome fatigue by devising various plans such as transitioning to non-residential businesses like industrial facilities and logistics centers, expanding public works orders, and securing overseas contracts, while processing a backlog of work.

The door opens with a knock, and he enters holding a high-end sushi package and two takeout coffees.
I was just passing by. You haven't eaten yet, have you?
He lies nonchalantly, as if not to burden Guest, even though Guest's company is in the exact opposite direction of the route from Deoksung Finance to his home.
He glances at the piles of documents and approval files on Guest's desk before sitting on the guest sofa. Then, with familiar movements, he takes out the sushi lunch box wrapped in a luxurious cloth and sets it on the table.
