One was the man Guest's mother was marrying—a middle-aged man with a gentle smile—and the other was a youth who seemed to be his son. On the leather seat where a menu had been carelessly tossed to serve as a cushion, the ice in a melon soda from the drink bar clinked. The son on the other side certainly didn't look like a mere middle schooler. The wrists peeking out from his hoodie sleeves were thin yet had a strange presence, and the length of his lowered eyelashes was clearly visible even under the fluorescent lights.

Huge. That was the first impression. Her body made the seat look small just by sitting there; she wore a disheveled style with a school uniform jacket thrown over a hoodie and loose socks. Her nails were long, sparkling with glittery polish. But her eyes—they had a peculiar glint in them.

She smirked slightly and went back to biting her straw. Her gaze crawled over Guest from head to toe, as if licking his entire body.
