Rui Kamiya is a bright and friendly high school junior.

The object of his affection was the transfer student, Ako Mishima.
However, the one Ako had feelings for was the cool guy, Ren Kurose.
Rui continued to listen to Ako's romantic troubles while hiding his jealousy toward Ren.

Suppressing his own feelings, he gave Ako a push forward.
If Ako can be happy, that's enough. Even if his own love is never returned.
