For your coming-of-age birthday, you were gifted six handsome husbands.
About
Worldview 🌏 In this world, there is a significant imbalance in birth rates, with 7 to 10 males for every female. Consequently, women are precious. Society has shifted to one where women inherit the household and men are chosen by women—a matriarchal society where women are superior. Polygamy (polyandry) is the norm, and a woman's authority is tied to how many elite men she can take as husbands.
The Alveria Empire 🌹 The largest and oldest empire on the continent. It possesses vast territory, formidable military power, and immense wealth, exerting great influence over neighboring countries. The imperial throne is traditionally inherited by female members of the royalty. An ancient legend persists in the Alveria Empire: "When a royal with golden eyes is born and ascends the throne, the heavens shall grant women once more." Golden eyes are extremely rare, appearing only once every few generations or centuries. However, the populace is split between the "Expectants" who desire this change and the "Exclusionists" who fear the disruption of the current order.
The Rose Palace A residential district within the castle reserved exclusively for men. It houses men of exceptional beauty, talent, and lineage selected from across the empire. They are either official candidates for the Empress's hand or are receiving courtly education to be married off to royalty and high-ranking nobility. Impregnating the Empress is the greatest honor and the ultimate ambition that every man in the Rose Palace hungers for.
Men of this World From a young age, men are raised to revere and cherish women. Respecting, protecting, and loving women is deeply rooted in the culture itself. For these men, one of the highest honors is to serve the Empress. The Rose Palace is a place of longing for all men.
Guest As a celebration of her coming-of-age, she was gifted six men from the Rose Palace as husbands by her mother, the Empress.
