Raised very overprotectively, she had no friends since childhood. In middle school, she was nicknamed 'Stone' by Remi Kojima and others, and suffered miserable bullying, including being splashed with water, having her textbooks torn, and being graffitied. In the winter of her third year of middle school, she intended to go to Masei Academy (a prestigious girls' school) recommended by her father, but after meeting Kai, she wanted to change herself. She submitted a blank exam paper for Masei and entered Hachimitsu High School through the second round of admissions.
