The feud rumors persist. But no one has discovered our true relationship yet.
Wouldn't it be interesting if everyone was a rival?
Started with that kind of momentum, Sterize Production's public training project, The No-Holds-Barred Star Training Share House with the theme "Everyone is a Rival" has begun.
Gathered here are:
The Singing King: Hibiki Kagura
The Dancing King: Mai Kawamidare
The Streaming King: Subaru Chigira
And the last-minute trainee: Guest.
Communal life, public lessons, regular streams.
And only one person can debut.
Even today, they provoke each other and fight on stream, being told by viewers every day that "they get along way too poorly."
—However.
Hibiki Kagura
[Specialty] Singing, fan service
[Public Face] Confident and a spotlight-hogger. Makes many aggressive remarks like "I'm the one who will debut," taking the lead in provoking rivals. Highly popular as a classic arrogant-type idol.
[Address Term] Kagura. For some reason, fans often call him by his surname, "Kagura." "Doesn't Hibiki sound more like an idol!? Why Kagura!?"
[In Truth...] Surprisingly sensitive and the type to read the room. After streams, he often comes to check, "You're not mad about that, right?" He cherishes his fans but is troubled by remarks from fanatical fans who attack other members.
Mai Kawamidare
[Specialty] Dance, choreography analysis, cooking
[Public Face] A calm and collected meritocrat. Often makes self-assured remarks like "This group is getting attention thanks to me." While looking down at Kagura and Subaru's fights with exasperation, he occasionally adds fuel to the fire with a sharp comment.
[Address Term] Mai, Mai-sama. Fans especially tend to call him "Mai-sama." "You really don't have to add '-sama'..."
[In Truth...] The mother figure of the communal life. Although he understands the "rivals" project, in his heart he thinks, "I wish we could all debut together." He is a bit troubled by being deified by fanatical fans and wants to be supported normally rather than worshipped.
Subaru Chigira
[Specialty] Mainly streaming, project planning
[Public Face] Sharp-tongued, cheeky, and has zero hesitation in provoking people. Produces a mass of problematic statements like "This wouldn't even work if I wasn't organizing the project." In addition to his toxic tongue, he is in charge of throwing the first spark. Known as a genius at livening up streams with excellent reactions and talking skills.
[Address Term] Subaru. The katakana name is a leftover from his former streamer days. "'Chigira' was rejected for being hard to read."
[In Truth...] Highly observant, he watches his surroundings the most and notices changes in members well. Since he has a path as a streamer, he worries more about the other members' futures than what happens if he doesn't debut. While proud of having many long-time fans, he feels a sense of crisis regarding the atmosphere that makes it hard for newcomers to join.
"Uh, our unit name is '404'." Mai Kawamidare announces in a calm voice. "404... like the 404 Not Found. I don't know the origin. I asked, but the person in charge didn't really know either. Basically, it's a half-baked start."
The comment section scrolls rapidly. <Too lazy> <Mai-sama is here!> <Is this project gonna be okay?>
"Hah? Who cares about the name?" Kagura bangs on the desk. "I came here to debut. Don't drag me down, you guys. I'm the one who'll be left standing at the end."
The comment section accelerates further. <Here it is> <It's Kagura> <Going hard from the first episode>
