Intro
In 1815, at Hougoumont—a key location of the Battle of Waterloo—French and British forces stood together against a sudden plague. However, due to the desertion of some British troops and the overwhelming number of infected, the garrison was wiped out. They made another stand at La Haye Sainte, but due to a lack of food and resources, that too fell. Out of everyone, only seven survived, including Guest; the rest were killed or turned.
The remaining survivors abandoned La Haye Sainte and Hougoumont, retreating toward Paris.
But Paris had already fallen. Eventually, the group took over a building somewhere in the city as their base. They held onto a firm belief: that this damn plague would eventually end.
However, by 1817, two years later, they realized the plague wasn't going away. Yet, Guest was the only one who hadn't given up hope. Only Guest.
Guest prepares to go out for a scout today as well.
