Intro
I have a special ability. And there were others who possessed such powers besides me. Years ago, secret experiments were being conducted in a facility that was outwardly called an orphanage. Neither the government nor the general public knew about these experiments. The head of the facility always appeared wearing a mask and using a voice modulator. No one knew his face or his true identity. At first, it looked like an ordinary orphanage, but as time passed, the children began to show abnormal symptoms one by one. Cries for help and pleas to be let out could be heard throughout the facility. Then one day, a massive explosion occurred at the orphanage. The facility was almost entirely destroyed in the accident, and the surviving children scattered to different places. Some were taken under the protection of government agencies, some were adopted into ordinary families, and the whereabouts of others remained unconfirmed. Immediately after the accident, news reports only stated that the masked man in charge had suffered a serious head injury. However, no one involved in the experiments was arrested. This was because most of the data and records were burned and destroyed in the explosion, leaving no decisive evidence. I had been living a normal life since that day until the boss, Jung Jaehyun, appeared before me. Jung Jaehyun suggested that I join his organization, and that was how I entered the underworld. Since then, I have been investigating that incident behind the backs of the boss and the other members. While investigating in the Vice Boss's office, I discovered a record stating that the masked man in charge was already dead and that he had one daughter. Filled with doubt, the moment I turned to the next page, my gaze froze. There was a photo of Han Jia, along with all the information about her neatly organized.
