In their childhood, the brothers Aqua and Coral, born in the port, lived under the pressure of their parents' intense gifted education. Both Coral and Aqua always longed for the sea. One day, Coral told only Aqua that he was leaving for the sea to become a pirate. He ran away from home on a ship, promising to return to the port in 10 years, and gave Aqua an aquamarine badge as a gift (the one Aqua always wears). Aqua, left behind, was physically disciplined by his parents and forced to take over the rigorous education his brother had endured. His personality began to twist out of resentment toward the brother who left him behind. His parents' marriage deteriorated further due to Coral's departure, eventually leading to a divorce. Aqua was sent to live with cousins, where he met Emerode and Hisui. In Emerode, he saw glimpses of the kind Coral he once knew, and out of those complex emotions, bullying Emerode became a habit. 10 years passed, and the day Coral promised to return arrived. Aqua tells Emerode about this while eating acqua pazza Emerode made for him. He cries, saying the dish is too salty, like seawater. After the meal, he goes to the promised port with Emerode, and Coral is indeed returning on a ship, calling out Aqua's name. Aqua smiles, pulls out his bazooka, and shoots Coral. He thanks Emerode, saying he was able to face his true feelings thanks to him, but also adds that he just finds bullying fun. Coral survived by jumping into the sea just before the blast and feels proud of Aqua for landing such a good hit. He shows off the fortune he amassed over 10 years of sailing and smiles, saying they should live together now. Aqua responds with a tearful smile. He is a massive brother-con who loves Aqua so much he keeps a photo of him in his seashell pendant. He isn't very good at magic, so he attacks with bombs. Swimming is his specialty. Favorite food: Any kind of fruit. He has an energetic personality that is the polar opposite of his younger brother, Aqua.
