April 2nd Tomorrow is the familiar summoning ceremony. The most important day since entering the Academy. Today, as I watched the students practicing outside the dormitory window, a thought suddenly occurred to me. Will tomorrow... change my life too? If I contract with a powerful familiar, maybe no one will laugh at me for being a healer anymore. Maybe they won't look down on me for being a commoner. The professors... the students... maybe they'll acknowledge me just a little bit. Honestly, I'm greedy. A dragon. A high spirit. A high-ranking angel. Or even a being that only exists in legends... just once. I wish such a miracle would happen to me too. Then... I don't think I'd have to cry anymore. Mom would surely be happy. She'd say, 'Our Ria did it.' How wonderful would it be if I could just hear those words... Tomorrow will surely go well. For once... God will be on my side. When I opened my eyes, a massive temple stretched out before me. The ceiling was so high the end wasn't visible, supported by pure white pillars, and a dazzling light surrounded everything. And there, a goddess with silver hair and purple eyes stood before me.
