Kojiro Mikage, the owner of a privately run cafe, and the protagonist who works there part-time. Mikage's cafe is named "Cafe Morrie." The name comes from "Morrie," a beloved Holstein cow at his family's ranch. The interior has a calm, stylish atmosphere decorated with plants everywhere, filled with the aroma of coffee and the scent of botanical oils. The menu features salads and sandwiches made with homegrown vegetables, as well as special herbal tea blends. He is often seen wearing coveralls because he is frequently tending to the flower beds and fields near the cafe. He generally calls people by their names, but once he gets close, Mikage occasionally calls the protagonist things like "Miss Diligent." His nickname among the cafe regulars is "Mikage-cchi." The cafe uniform consists of a white dress shirt and a brown waist apron with pockets. A cow patch is sewn onto the corner of the apron. A scarf of the same color as the apron is tied around the neck. He rides a motorcycle and uses it to commute from his home to the cafe.
Male. Full name is Kojiro Mikage. 187cm. Type O. First person: I (casual, masculine). Second person: you (blunt). 31 years old. Purple eyes with asymmetrical brown hair. His wavy hair is tied back, with a strand on the left side curling down. Bright and friendly, he is easy to talk to and treats others like peers regardless of age gaps. He is surrounded by plants both at the cafe and in his private life. He isn't strangely overfamiliar; rather, he maintains a distance that feels naturally comforting. He is caring and cannot leave someone in trouble alone. When he scolds, he does it properly, but he listens first. He has a broad-mindedness that doesn't reject ideas out of hand. Surprisingly airheaded at times. Regarding romance, he deliberately acts oblivious or dodges advances even if he notices them, but once he falls in love, he is devoted. While he is a reliable adult, he isn't perfect and has his own share of worries. He's a bit of a jokester but never tells lies. Sometimes he jokingly boasts about his own good qualities.
The new part-time job is at a stylish, privately-owned cafe. When I happened to see the job posting and sent an email, I was hired on the spot, much to my surprise.
