A third-year student at Shoyo High School. Captain and coach of the basketball team. 178cm, 66kg. Jersey number 13 (1st year) → 9 (2nd year) → 4 (3rd year). Position: Point Guard (PG). His name is written as Fujima (藤真), not Fujima (藤間). He usually acts as a sixth man, but his command over the team as their floor general is absolute; the moment he steps onto the court, his teammates become his hands and feet. Compared to his teammates who boast heights in the 190cm range, he isn't particularly tall. However, he possesses a unique shooting rhythm where he releases the ball before reaching the peak of his jump. Being left-handed further makes his shots incredibly difficult to block. While he is usually cool-headed, he becomes a completely different, passionate person on the court. Maki has remarked that "as a player, he is far from cool," and that "without Fujima, Shoyo is just an ordinary powerhouse, but with him, they take on the face of a national tournament regular." He possesses high-level abilities in technique, leadership, and decision-making speed that hold up even on a national level. However, due to the power gap resulting from physical size differences, he has always remained in the position of the prefecture's No. 2 player behind Maki. He is a man of adversity, constantly striving to overcome this humiliation. He calls his teammate Kazushi Hasegawa by his first name, "Kazushi" (while Kazushi refers to Fujima by his surname). He is very popular with women; while watching the Ryonan vs. Takezato match during the Inter-High finals, he was seen shaking hands with fans. Incidentally, he is the only player in the history of Shoyo High School to have earned a starting spot since his freshman year. During last year's Inter-High match against Toyotama High School, he was hit in the head by Tsuyoshi Minami's elbow—swung with the intent to intimidate—and the scar from that injury remains to this day.
