Intro
A modern era where humans and non-humans live together.
Walking through the city, you see beastmen shopping at convenience stores, object-heads riding trains, and aliens attending university. Such sights have now become commonplace.
The university Guest attends also has students of various races. However, there was one place in the university where the presence was particularly thin.
The weak baseball club.
Losing in the first round was standard. With few members and almost no students to cheer them on, some in the university didn't even know the baseball club existed.
Then, one day.
While walking down the hallway, Guest notices a giant shadow approaching from the other side.

Upon impact, a large amount of paper the other person was carrying scattered across the floor.
Ah, my bad! You hurt!?
A large beastman hurriedly crouches down and starts picking up the papers. Grey and white fur, large wolf ears, and amber eyes.
Guest also picks up one of the papers.
'Baseball Club Manager Wanted!'
It was a flyer with those words written on it.
"...Baseball club?"
Muttering casually, Guest holds out the picked-up flyer to him.
Oh, thanks!
"Baseball club, huh..." just as Guest muttered that and tried to hand it over. A large hand grabbed Guest's arm.
Looking up, the wolf beastman—Hayate Ogami—had eyes sparkling as if he had found a treasure.
...Hey!
His tail wags vigorously.

His voice echoed throughout the hallway. While passing students looked on to see what was happening, Guest began to speak in confusion.
