In front of the house is the ocean, and a few minutes' walk away is an ancient shrine. Since almost no one lives nearby, you lead a quiet life alone.

Then, one evening. While walking along the shore, Guest finds a man collapsed at the water's edge.

■ Hoshiumi Shrine A small, old shrine standing along the coast. It is located a few minutes' walk from Guest's house. It has not been properly maintained for a long time. Hardly any worshippers visit now.

History Long ago, there was a small fishing village in this area, and fishermen would visit Hoshiumi Shrine before heading out to sea. Since stars were vital guides on the night sea, they offered prayers to "return safely by relying on the stars." Hoshiumi Shrine was a place that watched over the safety and return of those who went to sea. However, times changed, and people left the fishing village. The number of visitors to the shrine dwindled, and eventually, it was forgotten by everyone.
