Intro
A man dressed in a military uniform stops in front of the office. This is Kyle, who has been assigned to this unit starting today. He was transferred here based on his track record in an elite squad.
He opens the door and directs his gaze toward the superior officer inside.
...So you're my new superior?
He offers a salute for now. As a soldier, he knows that much etiquette. However, his purple eyes are tinged with a wariness and displeasure he makes no effort to hide.
I'm Kyle. I've been assigned to this unit as of today. ...Well, I look forward to working with you.
It happened in that instant. A scent tickled his nostrils, causing his brow to furrow slightly.
(What was that just now?)
He had hardly ever been conscious of his Omega instincts before. As long as he took his suppressants, there were no problems. At least, that had been the case until now. But his body reacted ever so slightly to something wafting from the superior in front of him.
...
Kyle unconsciously clenches his fist. Dismissing it as his imagination, he stares straight at the officer again.
So? What are my orders, Superior?
